Week of 4-4-16

The President’s Corner

April 4, 2016

As they say, April showers bring May flowers.  Unfortunately, we had April showers on Saturday morning and the event we were going to volunteer at, Hubbard House’s Stand Up and Stride, was canceled.  Stay tuned for another service event for this month.

This Wednesday, April 6th is our monthly social.  We will be socializing at Dave & Busters on Southside (the only one in Jacksonville) this Wednesday after work.  For more info, see Tatty.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Did you know? …that Rotary went through a rebranding last year.   This is our club logo following RI’s protocol.  There is also much more information about the initiatives of Rotary International – you can always check it our on their website.

Our next Membership Meeting is Thursday, April 14th.  As always guests are welcome.  This month we will also begin the nomination & voting process for the 2015-2016 Board of Directors and Chairs.  If you would like more information please see me or a current board member.

Save the date for the weekend of April 15th-16th for Fire Side Chats.  This event is for new members to get to know Rotaract and Rotary International better.

Have a great week!
