Happy Monday! The Launch Party last week Thursday with South Jax Lunch & Satellite Club was a great success. It was a nice time of fellowship & the gofundme page for the the South Jax’s Speech Contest got well underway.
This week we will be back at our usual meeting place, High Tide Burrito. Our speaker this week will be Vivian M. Senior, NCC. She is an Associate Director at the University of North Florida. She will be speaking about resumes.
Have a great week & we’ll see you on Thursday!!

This Friday, November 14th when we will go to Catty Shack Ranch.
Meow! Meow! Meow! Let’s go on a guided tour and see all the big kitty cats (Siberian tigers, lions, cougars, black leopards, a bobcat, a coatimundi and foxes) at the sanctuary! Tours begin at 6:00 PM and leave approximately every 15 minutes. Tours last about 45 minutes.
But the most exciting part is feeding time. They suggest everyone arrive at the ranch by 7:00 PM to allow for adequate time for check-in and walking to the feeding point. At 7:30 PM, we will get to watch over 600 pounds of meat distributed throughout the sanctuary! Get ready to see their “wild” side – there’s sure to be plenty of roaring!
Gates open at 6:00 PM.
Feeding begins at 7:30 PM.
Admission:
Adults: $15!
Community Service
The distribution will start at 9:00 a.m. They expect to serve around 400 people that day. Some volunteers will be helping distribute the bags, others will help people load the items to their car, and others will continue to bag the items.
We have been invited to Downtown Rotaract’s Speed Friending event. See their facebook page to RSVP or just show up.
