Happy 5th Week of the Month! Usually that means we have an additional week before we convene, however we have an extra Rotary related event before our next meeting! Save the date for the first Thursday of November. On Thursday, November 5th our sponsoring Rotary club (Rotary Club of South Jacksonville) has invited us their Launch Party at River City Brewing Company. See more info below.

This past Thursday, we had a fantastic meeting! We inducted 5 new members! Congratulations on becoming First Coast Rotaractors. As experienced in your inductions, lasting friendships are made in our club while serving, developing professionally and socializing. Welcome to the club; we are happy to have each of you as members.
It was also a very special meeting as we were hosted by our 2015 Black Tie & Blue Jeans Gala beneficiary, the Cathedral Arts Project.
The Reverend Kimberly Hyatt gave a memorable speech on serving and service. She also referenced a book called Give & Take by Whartonite Adam Grant about givers, takers and matchers. Here is the link: http://www.giveandtake.com/ to take a self-evaluation.
Have a great week!
