This week is World Rotaract Week.  Our club kicked-off celebrating this week by volunteering at Cathedral Arts Projects last week Wednesday.  We packed the art backpacks that are given to their Visual Arts students.  We then handed the packs out at their Visual  Arts Showcase on Sunday.  Thank you to all of the club members that came out to these events.  Our club would not be the club that it is without you!

In continuing the celebration of World Rotaract Week.  We have been invited to present an update of our club to our sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville at their weekly meeting.  All club members are invited to attend the Rotary lunch on Tuesday, March 8th at River City Brewing Company.  The meeting starts at 12:30, Lunch begins at 12.

Our club meeting is this Thursday, March 10th.  In lieu of a speaker & in preparation for the following Rotaract year.  The board and chairs are going to present their roles in what they do on the board. If you are interested in a board positon for next year, you won’t want to miss this meeting!  We will begin the nomination and voting selection in April.

For those of you volunteering at Gastrofest on March 19th – the volunteer coordinator will be at our meeting to give us a brief & need-to-know information about the event as volunteers.
