The President’s Corner


Thank you to Marie Vogler our speaker at our last membership meeting that spoke to us about the Mt. Acosta Classic event.  Check out the event facebook page to know when the 4th Annual event will be happening!

Also, thank you to our special guest Julie Pyburn, past president of our club!  She spoke about the impact Rotaract had in her life and about the new South Jacksonville Rotary Satellite Club.

Our next meeting is Thursday, July 23rd and we will have The Reverend Kimberly L. Hyatt, the President and CEO from Cathedral Arts Project as our speaker.  We look forward to seeing you there!

First Coast Rotaract meets at Hightide Burrtito Co. the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Join us for networking and socializing at 5:30pm, followed by our meeting at 6:15pm. Guests are welcome at our meetings, service, and social events.

This weekend club members ventured off to St. Simons Island, GA for our Hail & Farewell party.  We enjoyed a beach day full of fun camaraderie.  We had a wonderful dinner and night out on town in their downtown.  We had a great time & many memories were made!

Community Service

Our next service event will be July 25th.  We will be volunteering at The Marketplace at Brooks YMCA.

Shift times are 8:00am – 12:00pm and 10am – 2:00pm.

Rooftop Summer Bash

Our friends at Downtown Rotaract  are celebrating summer while helping out a good cause. Save the date for August 1st and join them for a rooftop party. To attend the event please bring an unused school-age-appropriate backpack to donate. The backpacks collected will then be donated to John E Ford Elementary School.
