The President’s Corner

Thank you to our guest speaker, Kelly Altosino-Sastre. Kelly gave us a thorough update on her efforts to help build and strengthen the Rotaract clubs in this district,and lead Rotaract members to become Rotarians one day. Her passion for Rotary and Rotaract is contagious and impressive.

In addition to our speakers we also inducted two new members into our wonderful organization. We are excited to have Mariela and Alex join our club and we look forward to their future contributions in helping us excel.

12^th Biennial Black Tie & Blue Jean Gala
Rotaract meets at Hightide Burrtito Co. the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Join us for networking and socializing at 5:30pm, followed by our meeting at 6:15pm. Guests are welcome at our meetings, service, and social events.

Community Service

The Riverside Craft Beer Festival is coming up on February 28th. This event is put on by Riverside Rotary. They are still looking for volunteers for this event. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know. Of course you can also help out by attending the event and purchasing beer for a good cause.If you have any questions about community service please contact Sara Brown.

Sports/Social

This Thursday (2/19) Rotaract will be getting together to do some kart racing atAutobahn Indoor Speedway. If you are unfamiliar with this place, it is indoor go-kart racing. However, don’t confuse this with the go-karts at a mini-golf place. These karts are fast! Plan is to show up around 7:30PM and race around 8PM.
