Greetings! We are finally back to a Rotaract Meeting week!
We will be meeting at our new location for our meeting this Thursday, January 14th at River City Brewing Company. We’ll meet downstairs in the bar area for the social hour beginning at 5:30pm and then move upstairs for our meeting at 6:15pm.
River City Brewing Company is located in the South Bank of Downtown Jacksonville next to MOSH.
835 Museum Cir, Jacksonville, FL 32207
Parking is available in the main lot in front of the restaurant. Please be mindful of the time to make sure we move upstairs for our 6:15pm meeting time so we can start on time.
We are so very grateful to be meeting at River City again. They are being very accommodating to us and hope you would show your gratitude when we are there. Thank you!
Our speaker for our meeting will be Mary Pat Corrigan, CEO of Volunteers in Medicine.
Come and hear how she organizes 230 volunteers and 6 staff members to provide free medical care to 1700 working individuals and their families! As a service organization it will be interesting to hear about volunteerism on such a large scale.
We hope to see you at the very first meeting of the year. It’s also a great opportunity to bring along a friend or co-worker that may be interested in serving the community, genuine networking and professional development opportunities!
Save the dates for our service event for Saturday, January 23 when we will be volunteering with Habijax & our social event is at Velocity Air on Saturday, January 30th!
